European Union Film Festival 2017

This year's European Union Film Festival (EUFF) took place from 8 February to 24 February 2017, presented by the European Union Office to Hong Kong and Macao and the Consulates General of EU member states (including the German Consulate General) and Switzerland in association with Broadway Cinematheque. The film selection was sourced from 16 European countries. The German contribution was "After Spring Comes Fall" by Daniel Carsenty.
The opening of the EUFF was hosted at the Jockey Club Auditorium of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University (11 Yuk Choi Road, Hung Hom) on 8 February 2017 at 19.00. The event consisted of a concert of scores from EU films, followed by a reception and the premiere of the opening film "The Happiest Day in the Life of Olli Mäki" (Finland).
